EVEN IN THE QUIETEST MOMENTS (2012-2013)

The three projects Yesterday, when I was young, Our Mother the Mountain, and Even in the Quietest Moments are forming a triptych presenting a self-portrait that has been set up in three sections: melancholy, passion and contemplation.

Even in the Quietest Moments is the third section of the project. Greatly contemplative and appeased, this final series imposed itself as the completion of years of questioning and fascination. Full of admiration for the power of wilderness I felt the need of a “return to the roots”. A feeling of enchantment and complete harmony arose from the forest giving to the series the characteristic of an ode.

The title Even in the quietest moments is borrowed from a Supertramp's song
